My current work is primarily linoleum cut prints. My subjects tend to deal with some aspect of the human condition and seminal events that have impacted us in civil rights, education and the arts – the attribution of musical greats like Monk and Dizzy Gillespie, or tapping into greed and corporate corruption. The palette of human complexity can be dizzying, so I try to find the balance by injecting humor and satire without being too weighty. The lino print allows me to convey my ideas with a certain directness and immediacy.
