In creating the humble flipbook, The Blind Mole Rat, I attempt to ask the question: “Is it the mole’s fault he didn’t know what was in the box?” This becomes a personal question: “Is it my responsibility to know?” Perhaps acknowledging that my ignorance is sometimes a product of my privilege and other times a device to remain blissfully unaware is the first battle in a bigger war. So today, “I Declare War On Ignorance.”
